A twisted take on fairy tales. Mermaids... mysterious creatures of the deep.. what if they were not what you think they where? Sailor beware!
Excerpt from story:
The Little Fearmaid
Dark shadows grew over old man Zadok as he took a long draw from his pipe. The fire from the lantern in front of him glistened on his good eye while the other remained dull and blind. “She eats ya, is what she do, she takes ya, into the deep blue,” he kept repeating over and over.
On the other side of the table that rested in the coldest corner of the tavern, two sailors exchanged an uncertain look. The taller one, clad in worn down clothes that had been repaired more than enough times, raised his bottle of whiskey. With his lips on the brim, he asked. “Is this about them mermaids again, old man?”
