When Alice came back from her tumultuous trek through Wonderland, she came back home to find a world littered with strangers wearing familiar faces.
Where her sister once stood, there now was the White Rabbit making his home. “Welcome back, child!” He said in her sister’s voice, grasping a pocket watch in his palm. “Late, as usual, but not late enough to be too late, no, no. Make haste!” He ran away, her sister’s dress billowing behind him.
