Excerpt from Story:
Little Dead Riding Hood
There once was a village so small and quaint that it had no name. Its residents referred to it as the village by the river, and eventually Riverside. It appeared on no maps, but traders came and went exchanging their wares for local goods. All was well in Riverside until a dark and hungry shadow from the forest found it.
A wolf unlike any hunter had ever seen attacked one night. It was smart and cruel, easily stealing little children from their warm beds and leaving mourning parents behind. A pair of farmers, fearing for their child, dressed her in a red cape and sent her away to her grandmother’s house on the other side of the forest. “This will protect you,” they said, “its kind gets confused by this color.”
